An escort is mandatory on motorways and expressways with one-way traffic and at least two lanes for exceptional transports exceeding 3.0 meters in width and/or 23 meters in length, or for transports conducted at speeds below 50 km/h.

On other roads, an escort is mandatory for special transports exceeding 3.0 meters in width and/or 23 meters in length, or for transports conducted at speeds below 30 km/h.

The organization of the escort depends on the specifics of the cargo. In exceptional conditions, the involvement of police may be required.
